Hi my loves! 👋🏼 💕 I decided to quarantine myself this weekend (for obvious reasons) and thought it would be a great time to do some Spring cleaning and share a bit of my home Spring tour.

I feel like I'm always finding my “niche” and I must say, it feels good to have a home that is “me”. Although I’m always inspired by other designers, my main motivation is, well, my own personal style. :)

Also, please forgive me if my photos aren’t the best, it’s been quite cloudy here in Corpus Christi, TX and we have another week of no sunshine so it may look a little “dim” in some areas.

So let’s begin, shall we? Welcome to my humble abode...

ENTRYWAY

This mirror is a bit too ornate for the hubster but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my antique store find. That is also where I found this bright pink Lilly Pulitzer pillow (I’m sure it will stay with me FOREVER).

ree

The rest are estate sale finds or Home Good finds. I kept it pretty simple but I just love the “drama” the large blue and white chinoiserie vase give as it holds beautiful blue hydrangeas. I hope the entryway says, “Welcome Spring”. :)

MASTER BEDROOM

Next up is my master bedroom. If you follow my stories on Instagram, then you’ve probably already seen my Spring refresh here. My main motivator were these gorgeous (and silky) sheets by Queens House. The price is right and it's no secret I love pink, blue, and gold together. The color combo is perfect all year round but especially beautiful when you pull it together with Spring florals. I’m OBSESSED over my new sheets. Butterflies, flowers, lady bugs, and bumble bees SCREAM Spring!

You can also catch a glimpse of this “rare” Staffordshire white leopard. I absolutely adore it. Luckily for you, you can also find GORGEOUS replicas here.

LIVING ROOM

Our living room is rectangular so I like to separate it in two "zones" if you will.

Zone 1 is just our sitting area. Some of you have already seen this gorgeous gold floral silk screen. I literally “gasped” when I saw it at an estate sale. I guess not that many people love pink and peonies as much as I do.

ree

The coffee table is a "new to me" FB Marketplace find. It's gold Italian gilt with WHITE ROSES. I think it's absolutely FAB and perfect for Spring.

Yall also know my love for Famille Rose as seen in my garden stool and this vignette...

ree

The cute teapot includes my love of florals, birds, and COLOR! And of course, that gold bamboo handle is the final perfect touch. I found it at an antique shop last year but had it stored away for such a time as this. It's perfect to have some tea in my sitting area. :)

Zone 2 is where we chill, watch tv, and on rare occasions, light a fire. I have learned to love (well, “like”) the fireplace in our living room (in a Frank Lloyd Wrightish way). We have a unique home and I’m trying to embrace its originality. ;)

ree

This bamboo chair used to be brown with maroon upholstery...but when I spotted it at an antique store, I knew there was room for potential.

On the opposite side are His and Hers recliners (and by "hers", I mean my dog Petals).

ree

You can see some of my tobacco leaf pillows peeking through. (I found them at the same estate sale...it was a good one!).

ree

I was giddy when I found this $14 tobacco leaf trinket dish. I shined the brass with some Rub n Buff and the seashells are some of my own findings #islandlife.

Speaking of “findings”, you already saw it in my pics but just yesterday I found this gorgeous antique burlwood hexagon end table (swoon!). She was just $20 so I scooped her up and brought her home! Isn’t she lovely??

I love all the "swirls" and seashell-like brass handles. It's perfect in our home!

DINING ROOM

If you know me, then you know I love a good tablescape.

Florals, animal print, and chinoiserie are my love language! (SECRET: That table runner is just actually some left over fabric that I will eventually sew 😬).

I couldn’t believe my “luck” when I scored this Mottahedeh teapot for $30 at an Estate Sale. You guys, I’ve seen these for $500...NO JOKE!!

ree

The bunny was my own decoupage with some tobacco leaf napkins...isn’t she a cutie?!

ree

And I love these butterfly food covers...we can always use food covers here in Texas!

ree

In my China cabinet you can see my little vignettes of blue willow, peonies, bamboo, gold, Staffies, famille rose, tobacco leaf and all of my faves. :)

BAR CART

You may have noticed I got a new bar cart. It has more lucite and chrome (to match my Milo Baughman dining table). I love decorating it...especially for Spring!

ree

KITCHEN

As many of you already know, the kitchen is my least favorite spot (both because I don't enjoy cooking and I don't enjoy the style of the kitchen). But nonetheless, I try to spruce it up a bit until we can remodel.

I ordered these tobacco leaf mats on amazon. You can't really tell in the pic but I was a bit disappointed when they arrived with a bluish background. They are still pretty and it looks like Petals doesn't mind them.

HOME OFFICE

Now let’s mosey on upstairs to my office shall we? I changed things around a few times so you maaaay see different stylings. I’m constantly moving things around but I hope you see the potential in how you can change things up too! ;)

I wish I had before pictures but up until recently, this room was a hot mess! I also had papers and bills scattered all over the place! Although I tried to contain everything in these trays, it just wasn’t working for me. I also don’t like wire baskets that much because you really can’t hide the clutter.

ree

SO in the spirit of Spring, I chose these cute floral boxes found at Home Goods for my bills. The only problem with these beautiful boxes is that I almost forget the paperwork is there!

ree

I love how the floral matches my wallpaper (uh ehm) gift wrapping paper on my walls. Some people prefer muted colors, others bright bold colors but when it comes to florals, I love a combination of both!

The other side of my home office has a little bit of sophistication with this wall art I found at Hobby Lobby.

ree

And of course, I always have to include my animal prints...especially leopard.

ree

Well that about wraps it up for now. There’s still SO much more I wanna do...I haven’t even gotten my Easter stuff out yet! Maybe that’s an excuse to have a Spring Tour Part 2. ;)

Adios and enjoy this large PINK hibiscus that is blooming in my front yard as we say, "Good-bye" and get ready for Spring!
